Icon met with WSP, Cardno and Rincovitch Partners today to facilitate agreement of the permanent remediation plan and obtain further design information to continue the progressive re-occupation of apartments.
Following receipt of the additional information, we trust that Cardno will be in a position to release further apartments for re-occupation imminently. We hope to upload the updated schedule by COB Wednesday, 30 January.
The Cardno statement has been issued directly to the Body Corporate which has subsequently been issued to the Owners. For Owners who have not have received a copy, please contact your Strata Manager. For tenants, please contact your Property Agent / Landlord.
Accordingly, Icon advises that it has secured ongoing hotel accommodation for residents staying in the Darling Harbour precinct until Saturday, 2 February and will continue to pay for this accommodation and residents’ living expenses as previously outlined to the morning of.
For residents staying outside the precinct, Icon has contacted these hotels to ensure accommodation is extended to Saturday, 2 February.
For residents who have sought their own alternative accommodation, please seek to extend your accommodation to Saturday, 2 February. Should you have any difficulty in doing so, please contact the Icon Support Team.
Please note for all apartments ready to be re-occupied in accordance with Cardno’s agreement, the food and accommodation allowances provided to date will no longer be reimbursed from the date advised.
